 Phil Baker and his co-founders at Good Shepherd got the laws changed in TN (to start, but intend to scale) to allow previously wasted high-cost cancer meds to be reclaimed and dispensed to underinsured/uninsured patients who could not otherwise afford the life-saving meds. They will be using blockchain for supply chain and related uses - which will be crucial due to the need for transparency with the high cost of the meds (as in tens of thousands for treatment) AND as the FDA just ruled that this use is one of the first to exist outside DSCSA! They have an established working model with Good Shepherd as a charity pharmacy (yes, a *charity* pharmacy) and have spun out Remedichain from those experiences:
