Erik currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. He previously served as a Managing Director for Healthcare Technology Consulting in North America, as well as Accenture's Healthcare Blockchain lead and as a co-lead in Accenture's Value Based Care practice in North America. Erik has served in major leadership roles in healthcare for over 20 years at Deloitte, Vangent, and other industry firms, and has played a key role in federal, state, and commercial healthcare programs and initiatives as a leader in the healthcare community. He received a certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CHPIMS) in 2009 and became a HIMSS Fellow in 2012.
